Windows Media Audio Settings

This dialog is used to change Windows Media Audio settings.

Bitrate
The bit rate in kilobits per second (kbps). You can use the slider to change the bit rate.

*Refers to the amount of disk space required if you copy an entire CD (74 minutes) according to quality level.

The better the quality, the more disk space required. As you compress the audio you lose quality.

File Size
Displays the estimated file size of the encoded file with the selected bit rate.

Sample Rate
The sample rate in kilo hertz (kHz). Possible values depend on the bit rate.

Channels
The channels (either
mono or stereo).

Changing Windows Media Audio Settings

  1. In the Main Window select one or more source files or tracks in the list that are to be converted to Windows Media format (see Convert to column).

  2. Select Settings from Audio Converter's Output menu or right-click on the selected item(s) and select Audio Settings.
